Florida Panthers Captain Aleksander Barkov, his teammate Sam Reinhart and Tampa Bay Lightning Anthony Cirelli Frank J. Selke Trophy finalists were named on Friday.
Since the award is voted by the Professional Hockey Writers Association, the best defense of NHL is presented forward.
Barkov, who was the finalist for the fourth time in five years, offers the prize to win the second time in many years. He also won the award at 2020-21.
