Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shoaib Malik and Saqlain Mushtaq were the other mentors assigned to each of the five rivals in the 50 Overs competition. One source reported that PCB President Mohsin Naqvi has been informed about the performance of the mentors since his appointments last year during a meeting with the board of directors.

While PCB was allowed to take these former crickets, media roles and other homeworks, they asked them to spend a certain number of days to work as a mentor with their own domestic teams.

According to reports, 5 million Pakistani Rupi salary were paid to these mentors.

“Apparently, in the briefing, the money spent on the briefing, the money was not right because they have not given anything valuable,” he said.

The source added that the participants insisted on playing at the National T20 championship of Malik and that he did not happy instead of focusing on his job as a mentor of Sialkot.
