Pittsburgh Pirates activated Isiah Kiner-Falefa shorter than the 10-day injured list, while at the same time elected Liver Peguero to Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday.
Kiner-Falefa was placed on the list with a retrospective, right hamstring strain until May 1st on May 3.
Infielder has been reported to continue baseball activities and is expected to run on weekend bases to test Hamstring.
The 30 -year -old was hitting .280 with seven RBI and six stolen bases before injury.
Meanwhile, Peguero went to Indianapolis after collecting two strokes in four matches for Pittsburgh after being recalled on May 2.
