Pakistan was accused of bad management during the Champions Cup: “Curator sold for …” … “

A local journalist accused the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) of financial bad management during the ICC champions Trophy 2025. Journalist Shahid Hashmi was not to determine his words while criticizing the board for the confusion he had created during the recent event. Hashmi made a shocking revelation, claiming that he sold his motorcycle to organize fertilizers for the care of the field in Rawalpindi, one of the three places in Pakistan because the PCB refused to cooperate. The allegations made by Hashmi come at a time when the PCB is already going through a turmoil, following the national team’s weak trip in the tournament and the latest binary activities.

“I learned something strange yesterday. Fertilizers were needed for the maintenance of the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, so the budget and costs were sent to the PCB. However, some files remained hidden. Curator sold personal motorcycles to arrange fertilizers for the stadium.” He said.

“What could be worse? You have been given a budget for fertilizers, but you did not receive the fertilizers. So he had to sell his own motorcycle to do curator.”

Hashmi also stated that another example of bad management in the Pakistan jack.

Hashmi, “Yesterday in Karachi, the field needed a long piece of cotton to cover and irrigate. People had to add money for it and the curator took behind the national stadium.”

“The budget taken by the champions Trophy 2025 by PCB did not have a suitable job on it.”

“They put their work to each other and did not do their own business. There is no job for the management of the fields for domestic matches, and then in case of planning, they do not give the weather report they need. They do not do any job and there are many jobs for it.”

At the beginning of this week, the PCB hosted the ICC Champions Cup and claimed that he had won three billion rupees by exceeding two billion Rupi targets.

The PCB also said that there has not been any budget overdue so far due to the Champions Cup and other issues.

“PCB, the PCB, at the end of the financial year is going through two inspections. Inspections for the current financial year will take place after 30 June 2025.”

The PCB also insisted that the Champions Cup was completely managed by the ICC that there was no excessive expenditure or bad management.
