Mavericks GM: When trading Luka Doncic, ‘No Regret’

Nico Harrison, General Manager of Dallas Mavericks, did not withdraw the decision to trade with Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday Tuesday, which led to anger among the team’s fan base.
On February 2, the Lakers officially acquired Max Christie for the perennial Anthony Davis on February 2 with an agreement that sent the first round of draft selection to Dallas and Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris to Los Angeles.
“Yes, no regret for trade, Har Harrison said on Tuesday, Dallas Morning News. “Part of my job is to do the best thing for Mavericks not only today, but also in the future. Some of the decisions I will make will not be popular. And this is my job and I must be with me.”
Harrison has been talking to journalists for the second time since trade – but with a warning. According to the Stein line, cameras and audio recorders were not allowed.
52 -year -old Harrison evokes the majority shareholder Miriam Adelson and team governor Patrick Dumont from members of the fan base to expel him.
“Dallas’ beauty is a passionate fan base.” He said. “To achieve our goals, we need this fan base. And if you need to be honest with you, every trade I’ve been doing since I was here hasn’t been seen as a good trade. So sometimes it takes time.
“When I traded for Kyrie (Irving), it was greeted with too much skepticism and was rated as a terrible trade. You didn’t immediately see it, but finally everyone admitted that it was a great trade.
“So many times, the procedures take some time, but our forward philosophy wins defense and we are based on defense. This trade is screaming for it.”
Mavericks was 39-43 records and 10th seeds at the Western Conference. On Wednesday, they will visit Sacramento Kings in the Western Conference game game.
The Lakers led Doncic guaranteed the third seed at the Conference.
