Rajasthan Royals wrote to the State Prime Minister and responds to the allegations of pairing against LSG

Rajasthan Royals lost Lucknow Super Giants with 2 running, Avesh gave a big final and was then accused of the match correction of the host team.
The Rajasthan Royals (RR) has responded to the match fixing allegations levied against them. The 2008 champions were accused of wrongdoing by Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) ad hoc committee convener Jaideep Bihani. RR had lost to the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 2 runs in Jaipur, which prompted this reaction from Bihani.
RR’s dark past
For the unaware, RR had been banned for 2 years (2016 and 2017) from the Indian Premier League (IPL) after they were found guilty in an betting scandal that took place in 2013. Then RR owner Raj Kundra was banned for life from getting involved in cricket activities with Manoj Badale and Royals Sports Group taking over.
Response to match fixing allegation
Knowing what’s happened in the past, RR management have decided to nip the matter in the bud. They have categorically denied any wrongdoing and written to the Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the Rajasthan Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and the Sports Secretary regarding the matter.
“We reject all allegations made by the convener of the ad hoc committee. Such public statements are not only misleading but have caused serious damage to the reputation and credibility of Rajasthan Royals, Royal Multi Sport Private Limited (RMPL), the Rajasthan Sports Council, and the BCCI. They also tarnish the integrity of cricket,” RR said in a official statement.
