Former Indian coach Ravi Shastri identified young people Gujarat Titans inclined Sai Sudharsan As a potential format player for India's Test series against England, it shows impressive IPL performance and technical mastery of English conditions.
Sudharsan, the second highest runner in IPL 2024 with 456 runs, attracted Shastri's attention for the five test series that began on June 20.

Following the latest series losses to India, New Zealand and Australia, this UK tour will begin the new World Test Championship cycle for 2025-2027.
“I see this young man Sai Sudharsan for all the formats of the game,” Shastri ICC explained the review.
“He looked like a class player and my eyes would definitely be on him. He said.
Although Shastri accepted strong competition, he also discussed Shreyas Iyer's potential return to the test side.
