Ravindra Jadeja, CSK players IPL 2025 after being suspended returns home

It was recommended to separate the franchisees after the suspension of IPL.

After the IPL 2025 was suspended, players, authorities and staff are trying to return home. The BCCI and the IPL Management Council called the Season for a week following the increasing tensions of India-Pakistan. All players in India and abroad were advised to return home with CSK players, including Ravindra Jadeja.

The official confirmation of the IPL suspension took place on Friday. The decision was taken after being called in the middle due to security concerns of PBKS vs DC Clash in Dharamsala. The increasing border conflict between India and Pakistan was decided to postpone the tournament for a week.

According to the BCCI consultant, franchisees were asked to pay immediately. A decision on the tournament will be taken at a later date. While the players of Delhi Capitals and Punjab kings are traveling from Dharamsala, the rest of the franchises is free to distinguish their current position.

On Wednesday, CSK was the last to take action in Kalcutta. Five times the champions have left the team since then and went to their own way. Chennai Super Kings’s latest recruitment Urvil Patel shared an Instagram story where he traveled with Senior Ravindra Jadeja. Both Patel and Jadeja came from Gujarat and therefore they probably traveled together.

BCCI will help travel arrangements

The Indian Cricket Board organized a Vande Bharat train specially for everyone, commented by the players, commentators, support personnel, cameramen, crew and other for everyone. The BCCI also vouched on to help franchisees sort their travel arrangements for their units.

“They will return home, we will help all logistics, but the members of each foreign player and support personnel will return to their country. Depending on the future, a call will return for the league. But they will return home right now,” A IPL official told Times of India.
