Report: Alpine Mulling Driver, exchange before the race in Imola

Alpine Racing said on Monday to replace the driver Jack Doohan with Franco Colapinto for the next Formula 1 race in Imola, Italy.
21 -year -old Colapinto signed with Alpine in January. Argentine's name is routinely replaced by Doohan, who competed in six races in the rookie season.
According to the report, Horacio Marin, CEO of the Argentine energy company YPF, was caught in the last interview and said that Colapinto would be in the 18 May race in Italy.
Considering the weak onset of Doohan, including an accident at the Australian Grand Prix on March 16, including four penalties in the China Grand Prix a week later, the weakness of Doohan became widespread. The 22 -year -old Australian collapsed in the second free application session before the 6 April Japanese Grand Prix.
However, Doohan protected his souls after an incident with Liam Lawson in Miami Grand Prix.
“As we all know, nothing would be deliberate,” Doohan said. “Unfortunately, he was bored there.
“We just have to keep our heads up. Now I'm looking forward to Imola.”
