Report: Ar -e is investigating the open return to Trump’s Turnberry

On Tuesday Tuesday, RO -GE confirmed that the open championship was investigating a possible return of Donald Trump to Turnberry.

The Coast Course in South Ayshire, Scotland has been the US President since 2014.

In 2009, Turnberry hosted four times that Stewart Cink defeated 59 -year -old Tom Watson Tom Watson in a four -hole playoff to win Claret Jug.

After the attack on the US Capitol by Trump fans on January 6, 2021, Ar -e said that he would not take the stage for championships before.

However, according to Mark Darbon, General Manager of R&A, a potential return is a matter of logistics rather than politics.

“There are certainly some logistics and commercial difficulties in Turnberry that we encounter in the road, railway and accommodation infrastructure.” He continued: “We are doing some feasibility studies about what it is like to return to that place and how the investment will need.”

Darbon, in 2009, “more than 120,000 people” in Turnberry participated in Open, this July this July, Northern Ireland in compared to the crowd of approximately 280,000 people compared to the crowd of about 280,000 people.

“We know for sure, the golf field is bright, so we would love to be there at some point.” He said.

Turnberry also hosted Open in 1977, 1986 and 1994.
