Report: NATS LHP DJ Herz prefers Tommy John Surgery

Washington Nationals left hand -handed DJ Herz, three medical views and three -week rest after the end of the season chose Tommy John surgery.
Herz was placed on March 25 with a sprained elbow on a 15 -day injured list, and the test confirmed a partially torn ulnar collateral bond.
24-year-old Herz went 0-2 in four matches in spring education before being elected to Triple-A Rochester.
Last June, he made the league output and finished 4-9 with 4.16 ERA for citizens. He shot 106 doughs and walked 36 in 2/3 inning.
Herz, which was prepared by Chicago Cubs at the eighth round in 2019, was exchanged to Washington in July 2023 for experienced infielder Jeimer Candelariio.
