After the loss of November in the presidential elections, a rare appearance, former vice president and potential Guernational candidate Kamala Harris rejected the recovery of fundamental rights under President Trump on Thursday, called on people to give priority and promised to be active in the struggle for protection of constitutional protection.

“If we don’t look at ourselves and each other and each other, we can’t go there and fight in a town of ocean in Dana Point. See you there. I’m not going anywhere.

Harris is expected to decide whether he will enter the 2026 race for the Governor of California until the end of summer. If he progressed, he would shake a competition with already leading democratic candidates.

Although he did not address the Guernatorial race during his eight -minute statements, Harris suggested that he was planning to remain politically active after his loss to Trump in November.

Since he lost his elections for 2024, he has greatly avoided political appearances. After participating in the opening of Trump, he met with firefighters and volunteers in Altadena and touched on the policies of the Trump administration when he accepted an award from NaACP in February.

Harris’s Thursday’s appearance was a surprise for about 100 women participating in the gathering of leading women. When they entered the room, they jumped to their feet, tricked, cheered, and waved in the air. Among the participants, the former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, who was reported to have a run for the governor of Georgia and called Joe Biden’s running friend in 2020, was.

Shortly before the Harris meeting appeared, the leader of the group spoke about meaningful moments during their lunch. A woman sitting next to Lance Bottoms said she ran for the Georgian governor and called for other participants to collect donations for him. As the crowd rose in standing up, the spear bottoms overcome the emotions and put their heads in their hands.

Shortly thereafter, Harris said that in 2016, one of the groups of the group was first attended and the nation was now in a very different place. Before he became Vice President, Harris served as San Francisco Regional Lawyer and California Chief Public Prosecutor and was elected to the US Senate in 2016.

Harris, “Each each other, removing our community, our commitment to remove our country has not changed,” he said. “Now, what has changed since 2016: We are in the midst of seeing that progress has been taken back. The policies we were born are returning.”

Although Harris did not mention Trump by name, he refers to the return of protection for minorities, women, LGBTQ+ community. He also stated that people and organizations were silent and “surrendering” to the administration, because at the beginning of this week, her husband was the last person to make an agreement with the legal firm of the Trump administration and to obey the president’s policies.

Harris, “There is an ongoing sense of fear in our country and I understand it,” he said. “These are the things that we witness every day in these last few months and a great sense of fear in our country. Because you know, there were many things we know.”

Since the election, the most pointed public opinion statements, these concerns are the basis of the 2024 presidential campaign, he said.

“I am not here to say ‘I told you’, ‘he said, crowded with a broad smile.” I swear I would not say that. “
