One week after being released by Detroit Tigers, senior right -handed Kenta Maeda agreed to make a small league agreement with Chicago Cubs on Friday.
37 -year -old Maeda had 7,88 ERA for seven aid appearances for the tigers before appointed on May 1 and placed in the waiver on May 7.
Maeda signed a two -year $ 24 million agreement with the tigers before the 2024 season, but could not meet expectations. This season before the struggles continued in 29 games last season (17 beginning) 6.09 ERA went 3-7.
