2025 NBA playoff matches we want to see the most
While the NBA playoff field is now set, the next way seems to indicate the reckoning of a pair of NBA finals among the best seeds: Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers. But not that fast.
Seeds 1 of both conferences met only once in the final in the last 16 seasons – Cavaliers went to the top against Golden State Warriors in 2016.
The normal season showed that both teams would have a compelling final match. What should be seen is how both teams dealt with the intensity of playoff.
Thunder was also the best seed at the Western Conference last season, but was eliminated by Dallas Mavericks in the second round. The caves were seed 4 in the east and the second round of Boston Celtics.
Last year’s final match: Celtics filled the Mavericks in a five -game series.
Instead of predicting how NBA playoffs will emerge, there are five most interesting matches for any tour for the next two months:
Thunder etc. Cavaliers, NBA Finals
Is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander playing for a championship? Save us. Are Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland compete for the title? Bring it on. Since he moved to Oklahoma City in 2008, Thunder made only a final appearance in which LeBron James fell to Miami Heat in 2012. James took Cavs to the finals for four years from 2015 to 2018. These teams just won a title, and this latest version has the chance to match this number.
Los Angeles Lakers vs Cavaliers, NBA Finals
While talking about LeBron James, there was no crime for Thunder, but the Lakers, who represented the Western Conference against James’s original team against his original team, would even rivet with a title. Add Luka Dončić’s joining the Lakers Midseason, and the drama is only increasing with the chance to reach the finals for a second year. James is running out of the biggest scene of the game. Is there any other running at the age of 40?
Lakers etc. Boston Celtics, NBA Finals
The biggest competition of the league – with the teams that came together in the final 12 times – made a real shot at the number 13 this season. Celtics won the first eight games starting from 1959. The Lakers won three out of the last four people, and last arrived in 2010. Before 2016, the last two seeds in the finals were in 2008 when Celtics filled the Lakers. It seems appropriate to add Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, James and Dončić to Lakers-Celtics Lore.
Denver Nuggets etc. Milwaukee Bucks, NBA Finals
Foreign players redefined the league and inspired the new generation NBA stars. Nuggets ‘Nikola Jokić (Serbia) and Bucks’ Giannis Anthetokounmpo (Greece) styles are not just completely different, but both. The duo met for five of the last six MVP prizes and their teams won two of the last four headings. Can Nuggets return to the finals after separating their ways with the head coach Michael Malone? They can – if they commit to defense purposes.
Los Angeles Clippers etc. Thunder, second round
After purchasing Kawhi Leonard, he was looking for a crime in the summer of 2019, He landed Paul George from Clippers Thunder. The price sewed: Los Angeles gave two players the right to trade more than once once. Is this one of these players? There’s nothing but Gilgeous-Alexander. One of these elections was Jalen Williams, who scored an average of 21.6 points this season. Thunder still has a first round. A playoff meeting will be Gilgeous-Alexander’s memory of “how you can do”.
Other interesting matches that may fall in these playoffs:
Warriors vs Cavaliers, NBA Finals: Four Finals in Four Years (2015-18)
Pistons vs Celtics, second round: Rottens remain from the reckoning of the 1980s
Lakers etc. Knicks, NBA Finals: 1973 Clash and Willis Reed is still echoing in New York
