The Indian Premier League (IPL) may probably expand to 94 games from 74 games starting from 2028. IPL President Arun Dhumal confirmed that the Cricket Control Board (BCCI) in India is thinking about this movement to create a balanced structure where each team plays at home and far away. However, this will require a window for more than 9 weeks existing. The current window is locked until 2027, so there will be any change in the next media rights cycle.
