Sachin Visits Mawlynnong in Meghalaya, Sachin Tendulkar says, “One of the cleanest villages in Asia”




Former Indian Cricket player and India’s legendary inclination Sachin Tendulkar shares Mawlynnong experience on Tuesday. He published a video about his visit to Mawlynnong on his official Facebook account: “There is no need for filters when a village looks as beautiful as Mawlynnong. Mawlynnong is a village in the Eastern Khasi Hills region of Meghalaa province in North East India. It has a reputation because it is one of the cleanest villages in Asia. One of the most famous icons of Meghalaya is found here – Nohwet Life Root Bridge. The bridge was created by knitting the roots of the Ficus Elastica tree around a frame and continuing this process for generations. These live root bridges are a fiber of the traditional architecture of the Khasi and were important for the villages in the upright valleys and mountains, helping people connect with each other and go to the plains for trade.

Tendulkar has records for the testing and one -day international (ODI), along with the unique success of 100 international century scoring.

Famous for his extraordinary skills and cricket mastery, he entertained fans around the world from 1989 to 2013. Born in Mumbai, the cricket player tested only 16 years old on November 15, 1989 and played his first ODI on 18 December of the same year.

In 664 international apparently, he made 34,357 runs on average 48.52 and remained the highest scorer in the international jack. The 100th century and 164 half -century remain unique in the history of sports.

Tendulkar was the first cricker who scored a double -century goals in ODI and played a record of 200 test matches. In ODI, an average of 44.83, including the 49 centuries and 96 half centuries, accumulated 18,426 runs.

In the tests, the 51 century and 68 fifty and an average of 53.78 at 15,921 runs. Tendulkar, an important member of India’s ICC Cricket World Cup winner in 2011, realized his dream of lifting the prestigious cup after the World Cup exit in 1992.

From 2008 to 2013, he represented Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and helped them to get the title in the 2013 edition.
