Arrested to kill Mason with a cricket stick

On Monday, the police arrested a 36 -year -old man who killed a construction worker with a cricket stick.
He was arrested for killing 35 -year -old Sikkanthar from Gandhinagar on the Papampampatti Road near Sulur, 35 -year -old Sikkanthar from Sholavandan in the Madurai region.
Police said he was alone after Manikandan left his wife. During the summer vacation, he brought his son and daughter to stay with him for a few days.
According to the police, the Manikandan organized a television in an open area near his house to watch the Children’s Premier League (IPL) cricket match with his children. Arulugam, who temporarily lived in the region for the construction of a building near Manikandan’s house, also came to the scene.
While watching the match, Arumagam scolded Manikandan’s daughter without provocation. This led to a fight between Manikandan and Arumam. He took a cricket stick from the manican and Bludgeoned Arumamgam on his head and face. He said the police died in place.
After being warned by the neighbors, the Sulur police ran there and shifted the body to the hospital after Mortem. Police arrested Manikandan and arrested on Monday with judicial custody.
