Sanju Samson, the remaining two IPL 2025 matches for RR gains full conformity to play

Sanju Samson achieved a good return for 7 games in IPL 2025 and an average of 224 running 37.33.
RR is already out of contention for the IPL 2025 playoffs, but then the team still has two matches left in the season, and would be playing for pride. It has been a year, which was marked by some strong individual performances, and the rise of 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, but also injury-stricken captain Sanju Samson, who just couldn’t be with the team enough, to take them to much-needed wins.
Sanju Samson Fit to Play
As a result, RR are languishing in the ninth spot in the IPL 2025 points table, and are long out of the tournament. The season started with Samson being used as an impact sub, who was coming back after a finger injury. He did play 7 matches, scoring 224 runs, but another injury derailed his team’s course.
RR Play PBKS Next
But now, as per Sportstar, Sanju Samson will be back for the remaining two matches for his side. The IPL restarts on May 17, and Rajathan will play their next match against PBKS, an afternoon clash. In Sanju’s absence, the team was led by Riyan Parag, and the performances by sub par.
It would be interesting to see, as to where Sanju slots himself in the batting order, with Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal both doing well, at the top of the order. As far as RR’s foreign resources are concerned, each and every player is available for the team. In fact, the team also went on to sign Nandre Burger, and also Lhuan-dre Pretorious, for their remaining matches.
