‘Cricket can make you cry’: Yashasvi Jaiswal’a ruthless warning Ali Ali Ali Ali Prithvi Shaw (Source: BCCI/IPL)

Former Pakistan Cricket player Ali Ali named Prithvi Shaw and warned Rajasthan Royals (RR) to shift his focus back to the jack. After his first release in 2023, Jaiswal took the world with a storm and presented performances between the formats, but his last form was not great. Jaiswal fought great time in Australia, and in IPL 2025, he prevented 67 running strokes against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and did not meet the expectations.

Ali said Jaiswal had lost hunger to score a goal and did not focus on the jack. Jaiswal warned that the cricket could make players cry, and showed the example of Prithvi Shaw, who was once greeted as the next big thing of the jack but lost his focus and left out of the Indian team, who wanted to love and back his passion.

“His stomach is full. Jaiswal doesn’t focus on the cricket. This is my open message: Cricket can make you cry so much. Look at Prithvi Shaw. I love cricket and bring passion,” he said on the simple Youtube channel.

Jaiswal’s latest performance will force selections to look at alternatives, and India has no lack of talent in the country. Pun For Kings’ (PBKS) Priyenceh Arya hit the fastest face by a player who was not covered in IPL recently, while only 39 balls received one century on the ball, while Gujarat Titans (GT) Sai Sudarsan is in a perfect form. Sudhasan sits at the second point of the orange cover with 273 runs in five games.

Meanwhile, Ali greeted the decision of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to retire from India’s talent pool. “Rohit and Virat made the right decision to retire. I felt Virat should not retire, but it was the right decision. India has too many players.”
