Miami Heat has the chance to improve its position for the Eastern Conference Game Tournament with two matches in the normal season.

The 10th place (36-44) will visit New Orleans Pelicans on Friday. Heat missed the opportunity to enter the ninth place when they dropped the 119-111 decision to Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.

“It was a big game, and we lost, heat Heat Andrew Wiggins said. “But we just have to stay with him, we have to believe in ourselves. The journey will be a little more difficult, but nothing we can’t deal with.”

Wiggins, the team’s second leading striker, received 14 points from a six -game absence due to a Hamstring injury. His presence may support Miami for the progress of Miami, as Heat played in only 16 of Heat’s 31 matches for buying from Golden State in Jimmy Butler trade.

Tyler directed Herro Miami with 30 points and Bam Adebayo added 18 for the first time since March 27 playing Wiggins in the same game.

The heat, which hosts Washington wizards on Sunday, still lives for the eighth and ninth points, but they will have to win both games, and Chicago or the number 8 Atlanta Hawks should lose both games to rise Miami.

“Our focus will be to finish the season strongly,” Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra said. He said. “And then we’ll do everything we need to do to get the opportunity to get into playoffs.”

Heat lost three of the last four matches in the heels of a six -game winning series.

At the first meeting of the teams, Heat never watched during the 119-108 win against the Pelikans visiting the New Year’s Eve. Trey Murphy III directed New Orleans with 34 points and added CJ McCollum 22. Both players are out for the rest of the season due to injuries like Zion Williamson.

Pelicans (21-59), who played without the best nine scorers, missed the top 11 scorers for 136-111 loss in Milwaukee on Thursday night. Guard Jose Alvarado (Calf), Kelly Olynyk (Achilles) and Bruce Brown (Knee) and its central Yves Miss (ankle) were cut for this game.

New Orleans, who lost five straight matches, had only eight players for the road final. Milwaukee used 14 players to wear the pelicans and leave 115-85 in the last three quarters.

Six of Pelicans, Lester Quinones (21 points), Keion Brooks Jr. (20) and scored in double figures led by Jamal Cain (20), all of them, all of them. Elfrid Payton added 15 assists with at least 10 assists and the fourth match.

“We like to teach and love to see that our young men are growing up.” He said. “They make some mistakes, but there are too many positives and they pass through a high competition against a high competition.

“They go back and evaluate what they are doing and what they can improve. This part is fun.”
