In order to go to England on India 'A' IPL 2025 final day, BCCI will be selected

India's 5 -game UK test round will begin on June 20 at Headingley.
The India tour of England comes closer and closer. While the world focuses on the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are working silently to ensure that the India cricket team wins a Test series in England after 18 years.
According to Times of India, the BCCI will send India ‘A’ to England on May 25. This happens to be the day of the IPL 2025 final. To prepare for the England vs India Test series, the board had arranged for India A to face the England Lions in two 4-day practice matches. And one intra-squad game.
The squad were supposed to be a mixed bag. Players who aren’t yet part of the Test setup, along with tested players who are certain for England, were to be sent. That remains the plan. By May 18, six teams will be knocked out of the IPL. And players in the scheme of things will travel to England on May 25. The remaining, including those who are part of the Test squad, will travel later.
But the BCCI hasn’t finalised a squad yet. In the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, players like Dhruv Jurel travelled early to face Australia A. Something similar can be expected. Teams like Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings are knocked out. This means, in technicality, Jurel, Nitish Kumar Reddy, and Khaleel Ahmed are available for selection for the India A team.
