A year later, and a round before, Dallas Stars is in the same situation – with the chance to finish the season of Colorado.

Dallas directed the avalanche 6-2 in Game 5 on Monday night to get ahead 3-2 in the Western Conference Quarter Final series. Now it can continue with a win in Game 6 on Thursday night.

The same scenario but a different situation. This season, Mikko Rantanen wears green and white instead of burgundy and white and helps to send his old team home for summer.

Rantanen scored his first goal in the victory on Monday and put pressure on Finn.

“Great relief for him,” said Dallas coach Peter Deboer. “With the reaction of our group, you can say how happy our men are. I mean, they see it around (pressure). After saying, I can’t say how professional it was every day, it was the team first.”

The stars increased by 3-2 in the series, but in five games, only united 61 minutes. They drowned Colorado’s power game and scored a goal in time – two of them.

The avalanche has left Dallas behind 15-13 in the series, but the power game transforms 17.7 percent of its chances. The stars threw 22.2 percent of their opportunities.

Colorado, 16 playoff teams in the third match, but an average of 33.2 per match, but from time to time to score goals.

“You can look at all the numbers you want, but if you don’t put them in the network, you won’t win at the end of the night,” Avalanche Advanced Jonathan Drouin said.

Dallas spread the wealth in the first five games aggressively. Four players have two goals and recorded at least one point to 16 skatters.

Goaldender Jake Oettinger was shaking in the game 1 (5-1 loss) and the game 4 (in the 4-0 decline), but in two overtime wins and again on Monday night.

If Colorado loses on Thursday night, reshaping the list throughout the season will give two playoff win. For the third time in the last six seasons, the stars would eliminate their opponents and fifth time in seven different postasons dating back to 1999.

The key to avoiding the beginning of a summer can reach with Goaldender Mackenzie Blackwood, one of the 11 adds this season. He led the percentage of saving the NHL season (.939) for the 5th Game of Monday (.939) and came second in the opposite goals.

After allowing five goals in 13 shots, at the end of the first period, the first nine seconds of the game and another Floruz goal – the percentage of savings was ninth and eighth in goals.

“I have had bad goals before, but in a playoff game, it sucks when there were two in the first period.” He said. “This is an unfortunate situation, but now it is not much you can do about it. Just to try and reset.”
