Chicago Stars FC fired the chief coach Lorne Donaldson for the second year after the start of 1-5-0.

The stars kept Donaldson at the age of 68, hoping that the former coach of the Jamaica women’s national team could return a playoff game since 2021 in December 2023.
After finishing the last place in the National Women’s Football League in 2023, the team made playoffs last season despite a record of 10-14-2 and lost his opener Orlando Pride 1.
The stars are in the opposite direction of the playoffs this season, with only three points.
