Sunil reduces a narcine dolly, commentators and fans shock –

The capture has arrived, but KKR’s Sunil Narine has dropped it, and now simple luck draws attention. From fans to commentators, everyone felt that this was a routine capture of CSK’s Vijay Shankar.
What should have been a routine dismissal turned into a moment to forget, as KKR MVP Sunil Narine failed to hold on to Vijay Shankar’s catch. To make matters worse for Kolkata Knight Riders, CSK batters comfortably ran two runs.
Although it was a missed opportunity, KKR continued to dominate the game, restricting CSK to a modest total in the powerplay. This marked second-lowest powerplay score of IPL 2025, managing just 31 runs for the loss of two wickets in the first six overs.
As for the dropped chance, the incident occurred in the 4.3 over of the innings when Harshit Rana bowled a back-of-a-length delivery on middle. Shankar, trying to work it across the line, got a leading edge that lobbed gently over mid-off. Narine was well-positioned, and looked set to take a straightforward catch. However, he misjudged the flight while attempting to take it over his left shoulder with both hands, and the ball slipped through.
