The EX-MI player is having a serious problem, as a slope fir accused of rape

In a ugly turn of events, a rape case has been registered against a former MI player, Shivalik Sharma, as per various reports. The report was file at the Kudi Bahgatsani police station in Jodhupur, Rajasthan. It seems that the medical examination report and the statement in the court has been registered, while the police is on the lookout for Shivalik.

Allegedly, the player in question, is accused of maintaining physical relations with the girl, on pretext of marriage. “A woman, a resident of Sector 2, Kudi Bhagatasani, has levelled allegations against cricketer Shivalik Sharma. The woman had gone for a walk in Vadodara in February 2023, where she met Shivalik. Their friendship gradually turned into a romantic relationship, and they would speak for hours over the phone.

“Both families met in 2023, and the couple got engaged. After their engagement, they engaged in physical relations,” ACP Anand Rajpurohit said, quoted as saying by Sports Tak. Then in August 2024, the engagement was called off in Baroda. Meanwhile, Shivalik was picked in the IPL mini-auction at his base price of 20 lakh, but did not get to play a game.

As far as his domestic record is concerned, in 18 FC matches, he has scored 1087 runs at an average of 43. In 13 List A matches, he has scored 322 runs, and in 19 T20 clashes, he has gone on to score 349 runs.
