PIF invests $ 13 million in Ladies Europe tour

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund made an investment of $ 13 million to re -brand five women’s European tour activities.

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) made a major investment in Ladies European Tour (Let) to become the title sponsor of five women’s golf events.

The events previously known as Aramco Team Series were re -branded as PIF Global series and will take place in 2025 in five countries on three continents. In tournaments, it will rise from $ 1 million to 2 million dollars.

In February, the news arrives in the heels of the $ 5 million prize bag for Pif Saudi Ladies International and won a $ 675,000 award for the Jeeno Thitikul victory. The event will remain intact for the 2026 season.

Five events containing the PIF Global series are as follows:

-Pif Saudi Ladies International: Riyadh Golf Club, Riyadh (12-15 February)

-Aramco Korean Championship: New Korean Country Club, Seoul, South Korea (9-11 May)

-PIF Championship: Centurion Club, London (8-10 August)

-Aramco Houston Championship: TBC, Houston (5-7 September)

-Aramco Shenzhen Championship: Mission Hills, Shenzhen, China (6-8 November)

In the entire five events, the collective prize pool reached $ 13 million.

Similar to the PIF -supported Liv Golf League, each of the renewed Letth events will have individual competitions both in the team and at the same time. The captains will be appointed on the basis of Rolex Women’s World Golf rankings for the team contest and prepare their teams.

Golf Saudi Ambassador Charley Hull, “New PIF Global Series, continues to grow and players to play and win more opportunities to play in the world’s magnificent events, another big moment for Let.” He said. “Golf Saudi and PIF have proved that there are real game changers for female golf, once again supporting their commitment to creating equal opportunities and raising the bar for players.

“I love playing as an individual or in a team, so I can’t wait to take part in serial events throughout the year, and I hope it inspires more young people all over the world.”

In addition to Liv and Let, PIF has recently invested in ATP and WTA tennis tours, including serving as a naming partner for the ranking systems of both organizations.
