Thunder Gm Sam Presti, NBA year was published

Oklahoma City Thunder Deputy General Manager and General Manager Sam Presti was elected as the 2024-25 NBA Basketball Manager of the year on Tuesday.

This is the first honor for the 47-year-old Presti, who had previously been the second in 2009-10, 2019-20 and 2023-24.

Thunder directed the NBA with a record of 68-14 this season, connected for the best in the history of franchise and the best for the best in the league history. Oklahoma City also broke an NBA record to score its competitors with 12.9 points per game.

Presti has been Thunder GM since 2007. Before that he spent seven years in the front office of San Antiono Spurs.

Presti received 10 first votes and 74 total points in the vote by other NBA executives. Koby Altman, Head of Cleveland Cavaliers Basketball Operations, came second and Trajan Langdon, President of Detroit Pistons Basketball Operations.
