Stylish Indian slope Shreyas Iyer guaranteed the ICC Month Award for March after playing a star role in India’s champions Trophy Triumph. Iyer finished as the highest scorer with 243 runs to gain honor during the ODI event, and overcoming competition from New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy and Rachin Ravindra. He took honor for the second time. He won the prize for the first time in February 2022. Iyer won again 1127 days after a three -year gap. However, use the right hand broke a great record.
1127 days, the longest space for a player who demands two ICC awards of the month.
In the ICC version, Iyer, “I am honored to be called the player of the ICC men for March. This definition, especially in a month when we removed the ICC Champions Cup – I will love for a moment forever.” He said.
“To contribute to India’s success in such a big scene is something that every cricket dreamed of. I am grateful for my teammates, coaches and support staff for their invariable support and beliefs.
“Thank you to the fans – your energy and courage will continue every step of the road.” India thus won the award in a row, and Shubman Gill won honor in February.
Iyer helped India to move through the mid -sea with the master stroke game, and the mastery of mooring innings and making important partnerships played a vital role in directing the side through a victorious campaign.
The 30 -year -old scored 172 points in three games in March and contained some magnificent strokes with a modest strike rate of 57.33, 77.47.
In the A group of the Champions Cup, Iyer threw 98 balls against New Zealand against New Zealand and won 98 balls 79, and earned a total competitive 250 in the first innings in a difficult area.
He threw 62 balls to help India’s victorious chase over Australia in the semifinals, and finished the tournament with a 62 balls with a closed clinic with 62 balls for victory against New Zealand in Summit Clash.
