Transfer to Old All-American Kayleight Heckel Uconn

Kayleight Heckel is approaching the house because the 5 -meter 9 -class second -class guard’s commitment to play for Uconn Huskies next season is approaching the house.
Originally from Port Chester, NY will be transferred from Heckel, Southern California to Uconn and chose like Notre Dame and Vanderbilt. Together with Wisconsin Transfer Serah Williams, Heckel gives multiple transfers in an Offseason for the first time since the creation of Huskies coach Geno Auriemma in 2019.
“Kayleight has a passion for the game, Aur Auriemma said in a statement. “He plays at a fast speed and can affect both ends of the court. A great teammate and someone who wants to grow in court and outside. We are excited to take him in Connecticut.”
The general hope of 13 and the 2025 class McDonald’s All-American played 34 games, including seven beginnings for Trojan horses last season, and played an average of 6.1 points, 1.9 assists and 1.3.
With two transfers, UCONN returned 10 players from the 2025 Women’s College Basketball National Championship team and gave Huskies an internal track for the first time since 2015-16.
