Piladelphia Union, at the end of the 2025 season midfielder Ben Bender signed, the team said in a statement on Friday.
Bender was the first general election of a former unity academy player (2015-16) and 2022 MLS Superdraft.
After saving seven goals and an assistant in 51 career matches with 24 -year -old FC Charlotte (32 starters), he returns to Philadelphia.
Union Sporting Director Ernst Tanner said, “We have been following the development of Ben since he joined the Union Academy in 2015 and we are watching it has become an extremely productive young player.” He said. He continued: “There was a prominent opening professional season and has the ability to be a great ending.
Bender played most of the 2024 with Side Tampa Bay, the USL championship and did not take part in the MLS match in 2025.
