Stephen Graham and Hannah Walters explained that the TV show would have such an impact of adolescence.

Graham starred as Eddie Miller in Netflix Drama, while his wife Walters served as Chief Producer.

The heart -breaking show tells the story of a 13 -year -old son of a British family whose lives have changed significantly when he was arrested for killing a girl in his class.

The series, which was premiere at the beginning of this month, deals with problems such as male anger and examination culture.

Adolescence won 66.3 million views in the first two weeks in Netflix, and during this time it was the most watched limited series of the flame.

Speaking with Variety, Graham said that since the release of the show, he was stopped on the street by several people, including a “elegant” old woman who has been drowned in tears and wanted to hug him.

“What I’m trying to say is that we have no idea that it will socially affect socially as it is, but it seems that we have cut all the race, belief and hierarchical structures of the society with the message that we have carried about our youth.” He said.

Meanwhile, Walters admitted that the show was “overwhelming”.

“Someone sent us an e -mail that says that someone said he had no business for 38 years and that he had no such effect.” He said.

“We are number one in 80 countries, including Saudi Arabia, India, Australia … This is incredible,” the producer continued. “I didn’t think the issue would echo with the world, but it really exists.”

Walters added that they have received a series of “beautiful and heartfelt messages” from young people since the release of the series, and the show encouraged them to talk to their parents about difficult issues.

When asked if there was any plan for a second series or sequel, Stephen joke, “Let’s probably see how the figures are. But yes, there’s a possibility of developing another story.”
