Vancouver, Austin FC, under overwhelming conditions

Vancouver goalkeeper Yohei Takaoka stood tall in recording five stops, including gaming savings in 83 minutes, and WhiteCaps was held for a scoreless together with the host Austin FC on Saturday in the Western Conference match.

WhiteCaps (8-1-4, 28 points) MLS line was played without damaging eight games, while the competition was played at a sweltering temperature. Meanwhile, Austin played five straight matches without victory, but at least poured the scores with Vancouver sitting in the west ranking.

Clean page was the sixth of Takaoka’s season. Austin FC goalkeeper Brad Stuver was also intact and stopped two shots to win the sixth closure of the year.

Verde (5-6-3, 18 points) produced all three shots in the first half, but there was nothing to show for it.

Osman Bukari, the third minute of the match by Takaoka was easily rising by a goal. Bukari re -tested Takaoka in 28 minutes and targeted his head after a corner kick from Owen Wolff, but hit his thrown.
