Apple Watch SE may not have a future in plastics after all

Last July, Mark Gurman Apple from Bloomberg reported that an Apple Watch SE has begun to investigate the use of a plastic case in an Apple Watch SE to compete with the cheapest competitors. In August, Gurman provided more details about how it can be marketed as a “child -friendly” product. In September, Gurman reported that the clock could be sent this year, but the product entered into “cost and quality difficulties with the transition to plastic”.
Now the walk and the last Plastic Watch SE, the last Gurman’s “serious danger”. Sources say that the case is not compatible with the company’s standards and the cost of doing the case is not much cheaper than using aluminum.
Apple has offered plastic devices as cheaper options in the past, especially the original ibook and iPhone 5c. In addition, such as the iPhone 5C, the current Apple Watch series in the standard tones to be separated from a series of bright color plastic clock was thought to be available.
However, Apple has long moved away from the plastic in Macbooks and hasn’t made a plastic iPhone since 5C. Unless there was some kind of breakthrough, Apple Watch SE’s future in plastic ended before the beginning. Learn more about Apple Watch Series 10, Apple Watch Ultra 2 and current Apple Watch SE.
