Former Indian dough Vinod Kambli has recently been the center of attention due to bad health conditions and financial struggles. In December 2024, Gavascar promised to help Kambli at the opening of the monument of the legendary Aries Rakant Achrekar in Shivaji Park in Mumbai. Now the legendary dough has finally fulfilled its promise, because it has been arranged to receive monthly help from Kambli Gavaskar.
According to a report in Times of India (quoted Now Times), Gavaskar’s Champs Foundation will provide Kambli a total of 30,000 RS and 30,000 RS medical support.
Gavaskar and Kambli met with each other at Wankhede Stadium for their 50th anniversary celebrations in January.
At the beginning of January, Kambli’s wife Andrea Hewitt announced that he filed a divorce case in 2023, but decided to take back his husband after seeing the ‘desperate state’.
