The uncertainty around Virat Kohli’s test career ended on Monday, and the iconic slopes announced his retirement from the longest form of the game with an emotional article on Instagram. When the news first appeared on social media, BCCI’nın Kohli’yi reportedly called on to review the decision. However, Virat decided to give up by saying that it was the right time to end a famous part of his career. While the news took the cricket world with a storm, an old interview of Kohli reappeared on the internet. In the interview, Kohli talks about his ambitions in the test jack and says he wants to reach 10,000 runs in the longest format of the game.
“I don’t watch the records at all. When I got a score in a match for a century, then I learned that it was the fastest 10th century or something like that. So after the match, I just learn that after the match.
However, Kohli ended his test career as a shy of the milestone of the 770, 10,000 test work, in recent years he had a decline in form, which he saw the average of the format decrease below 50. In fact, it has been at the lowest level for more than a decade.
