“We greet our brave men”: ICC President Jay Shah’s praise to Indian Armed Forces




Jay Shah, President of the International Cricket Council (ICC), expressed solidarity with Indian Armed Forces after their response to Pakistan’s air strikes after the Sindoor operation on Thursday. Praising the courage and devotion of the Indian forces, the Shah greeted the soldiers of the country for pioneering the fight against terrorism in the midst of tension with Pakistan. “Our armed forces are our pride and are not enough to express their courage and commitment to protect our homeland and our people. We greet our nation from the armed forces that protect our nation from terrorism. Let us unite to honor our heroes and to build more powerful, more unified India.

India’s legendary Spinner Anil Kumble reiterated Shah’s feelings and praised the “invariant courage” of Indian armed forces. “At uncertain times, a truth remains – our armed forces stand long with unchanging. Silent stability is the most powerful shield in India. I greet every brave hearts that protect our tomorrow.

On Thursday, Pakistan launched air strikes to Jammu and several military stations near the western border, but India’s air defense systems successfully supported these initiatives.
