Yashasvi Jaiswal needs critics with hot and fifty vs rcb

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s salvation story begins in IPL 2025 while hitting second -hand vs rcb.
Yashasvi Jaiswal is back. The Rajasthan Royals’ opening batter has scored his second half-century of the season, affirming the belief of fans and the team that he is crucial to their IPL 2025 campaign. His 50 off 35 balls came against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Jaipur. He scored 75 runs before losing his wicket via LBW to Josh Hazlewood in the 16th over.
Good start for the team vs RCB
Yashasvi Jaiswal opened the innings with captain Sanju Samson. Samson departed very early, losing his wicket right after the power play in the 7th over. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal remained in form and played a determined and mature inning. He executed every shot with proper calculation and avoided making any errors throughout his innings.
Jaiswal changing gears after a poor start to the season
Jaiswal has shifted gears in IPL 2025 after a rough start to the season. Initially, he struggled and didn’t manage to score big runs. His first half-century came in Mullanpur, where he scored 67 runs against Punjab Kings on April 5. However, he faltered again, losing his wicket for a single-digit score of 6 runs against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad. Many speculated that Jaiswal was out of form and should be benched, but today he has shown why he is special.
Will Jaiswal manage to recreate his last two IPL seasons?
Jaiswal has been impressive with Rajasthan Royals in the last two seasons. In the 2023 season, it was one of his best, where in 14 matches he scored 625 runs with an average of 48.0, including 5 half-centuries and one century. In 2024, he delivered a decent performance, scoring 435 runs in 16 matches with one half-century and one century. Will he be able to replicate the same success in the 2025 season after having a slow start? Only time will tell.
