The Indian Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal asked the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to allow him to stay with indigenous giants a month after asking for a month to go to Goa a month after he did not want any objection certificate (NOC). In April, Jaiswal surprised everyone by typing Goa to MCA to get approval for a shock movement. Mca quickly approved Jaiswal’s request. PTI told Jaiswal that MCA could represent Mumbai in the next local season.

Jaiswal, “Signing from me, well, you have some family plans to shift to Goa for now, I will ask me to think of my request to withdraw NOC!” He wrote.

“So I sincerely want MCA to allow me to play for Mumbai this season!

It was believed that Jaiswal, who has been a young player from Uttar Pradesh’s Bhadohi to Mumbai as a young player and rising for the first time among the formats for India for the last few years, was believed to have passed from Mumbai to Goa because of the possibility of being a captain.

A packaged international calendar would not allow 23 -year -old Jaiswal to spend too much time to spend with Goa, but being a captain would give him some experience in great leadership roles.

Goa Cricket Association Secretary Shamba Desai had previously confirmed PTI that Jaiswal would be the captain of Jaiswal, and the Goa team was promoted to the elites before the 2025-26 season.
