Penguins D Kris Letang gets rid of heart surgery

The team said on Wednesday that Pittsburgh Penguins defender Kris Letang had survived heart surgery.

Letang, who was 38 years old next week, had a successful procedure to close a small hole in his heart in Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
