Aaron Rodgers: ‘To deal with a lot from the field’

Aaron Rodgers said he didn’t commit a new team – even to continue his career because he was dealing with “hard things” in his personal life.
Four times the MVP players, the sudden separation of Jets, the meetings with Vikings and Stelers, ESPN’s “The Pat Mcafee Show” on Thursday, retirement and other issues during a view discussed.
“I’ll put them all straight, Rod Rodgers said. “From jumping, I am in a different stage of my life, I am 41 years old, I have a serious relationship, I have personal commitments I have made … And the people in my inner environment are struggling with difficult things. It is a great thing to commit to a team.”
Rodgers, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, or other teams that expressed interest in these offseason services, “no one” or did not hold for more money, he said.
“I told each of the teams, not about money,” he said. “I said I would play for $ 10 million. Anyway.”
“… I do not think that it is fair for Stelers or anybody while dealing with the outside of the field. I want to keep the communication lines open. People who need to know and know.”
After 20 seasons and 248 normal season matches, Rodgers said it was an option to get away from the game.
“I am open to everything and depends on nothing. Pension can still be a possibility. Focusing on personal life,” he said.
Returned from a torn Achilles last season, Rodgers completed 63.0 percent of 3,897 yard passes with 28 touches and 11 interventions for Jets.
Rodgers said he was taken with a little surprise when Jets chose to release him in March.
“I thought there would be a conversation when I flew throughout the country to meet the jets.” He said. “We sat in the office and said in 20 seconds, Koç (Aaron Glenn) was going in a different direction. It was completely good, but they could tell me that on the phone.
“… I was literally there for 40 minutes of the word. I was not upset about this, but I was surprised.
Rodgers, who spent the first 18 seasons with Green Bay Packers, ranks fifth in transitional goals (503) and seventh in transition gardens (62,952).
