Atomfall Review – Everyone went to the reactor | Game

If Chornobyl disaster occurs in the Hat in England? “Atomfall, according to the developer rebellion, much more picturesque and a lot of patisseries, such as the serial fiction, such as Atomfall.

Using the 1957 windscreen fire as a launching ramp, Atomfall pushes you to a post -war Britain, and that this accident is dramatic that the government sends a large part of the lake region to the army before leaving the wall and leaks everyone inside. Your character, an archetypic video game Amnesiac, a few years later wakes up in the exclusion zone. To escape, they should solve the mystery that causes disaster, responsible and causes how to correct it.

This mystery and how it emerges are the most interesting parts of Atomfall. The story is revived as “leaders ği, where the points of interest emerge by collecting documents such as traditional tasks, letters and military reports and talking to the locals in the region. In the heart of Enigma, there is a large underground research facility that you need to re -activate by unlocking their entrances and finding atomic batteries to provide power to their various sectors, as a result, it opens the lock of the heart of the wind and the dark secret is kept inside.

A fairy tale that offers plenty of intrigue. Soldiers, scientists and characters that help you on your journey, including a public opinion, have their own motivations to do so, which you will only reveal only the uncommon areas of Atomfall as a cross -reference with other players in the game. These will usually be related to deviations that you will find along the way, such as infiltrating a castle occupied by a wicker -style Druids to take a special drug and solve a British murder in a church.

It is fun to open these topics, and the fairy tale is a firm focal and better speed than most open world adventures. Unfortunately, the accompanying game mechanics feel more like coming more than enthusiasm. The war allows you to choose between close fights that will allow you to appreciate the weapons that can be served but not remarkable, and every rusty fiery you collect. Mostly there is a primitive workmanship system that you will use to bandage and occasionally Molotov cocktail. There is a hidden system in theory, but I have never seen that it does not function in a proper way. The enemies can remove you from half of the map and seem to be telepathically dependent on the nearby allies, which makes it strange and insignificant.

Probably, in the exclusion zone of Atomfall, aside from the Lake Region, it does not always help to be a bright sunny day that may be unusual for any part of the UK. In general, it can better use the Cumbrian environment. Although the four maps of Atomfall, cracked valleys full of shells of dry stone buildings, and discovering the most meticulously re -created British village since everyone has gone to Rapture, the world is not particularly atmospheric.

Moreover, enemy groups, druids and crazy looters covered with jacking equipment feel as uncertain attempts to angicize the sprinkler gangs. Where are Feral Ramblers, Wordsworth or Coleridge’s better poets? While Kendal Mint Cake and Grasmere Ginger Cookies are not so abundant? This may seem respectful, but we have recently seen such a bright lamp of Northern life, thank you very much here!

To use another example, one of the most important inspirations of Atomfall is Stalker, a series that is in such a specific, incompatible Ukrainian. Stalker and sequels are not completely afraid of being strange, brave, challenging and gloom to completely wrap the player’s radioactive trauma completely. England does not share this trauma in the same way, so Rebellion’s scenario of “whatever” can only be the shadow of Chornobyl.

Atomfall is now out, £ 45
